The Martin Luther King Jr. holiday on Monday will alter the sanitation schedule in Mount Airy.
No yard wastes will be collected that day and will resume on Jan. 28.
Also, the Monday industrial roll-off route is to be serviced on Tuesday instead.
Monday’s commercial garbage collections will operate on the regular schedule.
City offices will be closed Monday in observance of the holiday.
