Miranda Lea Hiatt and Kevin Lee Burcham were married Sept. 12 at 2 p.m. at Day Spring Baptist Church. Ricky Burcham officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Tammy Leonard and Joel Hiatt, both of Mount Airy. She is the granddaughter of Claudine Kingsbury and the late Robert Kingsbury, Paul Bobo and the late Irene Bobo and the late Porter and Nancy Hiatt. The bride is a graduate of North Surry High School and a 2004 Surry Community College graduate. She is employed at the Renfro Corporation.

The bridegroom is the son of Tony and Sue Burcham of Dobson. He is the grandson of Gilmer and Doris Draughn and the late Norris and Frances Burcham. The bridegroom is a graduate of Surry Central High School and a 2004 graduate of Surry Community College. He is employed at Ararat Rock Products.

Christina Boles was the pianist and vocalist.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her mother and father.

The maid of honor was Melissa Flippin, the bride’s sister, of Pinnacle. The bridesmaids were Amanda Ring, of Woodlawn, Va.; and Misty Epperson, the groom’s sister, of King.

The flower girl was Maggie Flippin, the bride’s neice, and the ring bearer was Connor Epperson, the groom’s nephew.

The best man was Daniel Jones, of Mount Airy. The groomsmen were Greg Flippin, the bride’s brother-in-law, of Pinnacle; and Devin Epperson, the groom’s nephew, of King.

Terrie Fallin, the groom’s aunt, was the director and Carolyn Willard, was the registry attendant.

A reception followed the ceremony in the fellowship hall which was hosted by Ricky, Ann and Stephanie Collins, the groom’s aunt, uncle and cousin.

The couple took a wedding trip to St. Lucia and reside in Dobson.
