PILOT MOUNTAIN —  Mrs. Louvenia Brinkley Hill, 84, of Pilot Mountain, widow of the late Jay Porter Hill Sr., passed away on Monday, Feb. 18, 2013, at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born on April 12, 1928, in Surry County to the late Willie Lee and Percey Lynch Brinkley. Mrs. Hill was a homemaker and a member of Jessup’s Grove Baptist Church. Mrs. Hill is survived by one son, Jay Porter Hill Jr. of Pilot Mountain; one daughter, Yolanda Hill of Winston-Salem; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Mrs. Hill was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters. A graveside service will be conducted on Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013, at 10 a.m. at Jessup Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Barry Clement officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Jessup Grove Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
