Mount Airy author Bud Fussell will hold a book reading and signing Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m. at Pages Books and Coffee on Main Street in downtown Mount Airy.
The event will be the official launch of his historical novel, “Scoundrel,” according to his publisher, Second Wind Publishing of Winston-Salem.
Mike Simpson, publisher of Second Wind, announced that “Scoundrel” is the first in a three-book arrangement to bring Fussel’s historical novels to print. “Scoundrel” is a tale of highly successful rancher in the early days of the 19th century.
