I understand the reasons to try and draw people to the fair to support the VFW but we really need to find a new group. For the 5th year in a row everyone I've spoken to is really disappointed. I didn't attend the past 2yrs because it had gotten so bad but we wanted to support them and believed it was going to be better. Also what happened to the agricultural side of this? A handful of chickens, and a few other individual farm animals? What about the judging booths that used to be full of boyscouts, 4-H and other clubs that filled both buildings? Now we have Mary Kay, US Cellular and maybe 50% capacity. When can we bring the enjoyment of a real AG Fair back to our small town?
