Carrie&#8217;s parents and brother, along with grandparents, aunts, cousins and others, were on hand for the event at the school, viewed as a healing measure for Carrie&#8217;s loved ones and friends. Students circled the entire baseball field and released the balloons, the yellow ones signifying Ewing&#8217;s sarcoma, which the girl had battled for six years. A memorial luncheon and motorcycle ride fundraiser will be held Sunday at Copeland Baptist Church, which Carrie attended, with food to be served at 12:30 p.m. and the ride starting at 1:30 p.m.</p>
