Charles A. “Tony” Carson and Sarah K. Vernon announce their engagement and pending marriage.

Sarah is the daughter of Tommy and Barbara Kingsbury of Mount Airy and is employed by Pike Electric, Inc. Tony is the son of Joyce Carson and the late Charles “Kit” Carson of Lowgap and is employed by Mount Airy Oil Company.

The couple are both graduates of North Surry High School. Tony is also a graduate of Catawba Valley Technical College with a degree in engineering.
