Mayley Hammond York

Alan and Kyle York of Winston-Salem announce the birth of their daughter, Mayley Hammond, on March 20, weighing 8 pounds, 2 ounces.

Mrs. York is the former Kyle McElveen. The grandparents are Vicki York of Mount Airy, Gary and Charlotte York of Pilot Mountain and Donny and Cindy McElveen of Winston-Salem.

The great-grandparents are Helen May and the late Foster May of Mount Airy, Marian York and the late Tom York of White Plains, Mr. and Mrs. John McKissick of Summerville, S.C., and the late Mr. and Mrs. James Henry McElveen of Timmonsville, S.C.

Carleigh Jo Mills

Mr. and Mrs. Corey Mills of Mount Airy announce the birth of a daughter, Carleigh Jo, on March 23 at Forsyth Medical Center, weighing 8 pounds, 8.4 ounces.

Carleigh Jo has a big sister, Cassidy Hope Mills, 2.

The grandparents are Brent and Sherry Riddle, Dale Hutchens and Lee and Judy Mills.

Weston Dale Burnett

Carlos and Tiffany Burnett of Mount Airy announce the birth of a son, Weston Dale, on Feb. 23 at Sara Lee Womens Center at Forsyth Medical in Winston-Salem, weighing 7 pounds, 7.3 ounces.

The grandparents are Tom and Sheila Klenow of Pinole, Calif., David and Gail Rigney of Mount Airy and Joe and Melynda Berrier of Lincolnton. The great-grandparents are J.C. and Barbara Coe of Mount Airy and Lawrence Klenow of California.

Weston has a great-great-grandmother, Ila Coe of Mount Airy, and two siblings, Emma Burnett, 7, and Thomas “T.J.” Burnett, 9.
