Mr. and Mrs. Derek Wall, 1537 The Hollow Road, Ararat, Va., announce the birth of a daughter, Makenzie Ann, on March 5 at Forsyth Medical Center, weighing 9 pounds, 7 1/2 ounces.
Mrs. Wall is the former Melissa Ann Payne. The grandparents are Calvin “Cotton” and Vickie B. Payne of Ararat, Va., Carol Wall of Madison Heights, Va., and Mr. and Mrs. John “Jack” Wall of Floyd, Va. The great-grandparents are Vernell Stevens of Pilot Mountain, the late Bennie Barnard and the late James and Claudia Payne.
