Judy Easter Bacon and Jimmy Daniel Stevens Sr. exchanged wedding vows on Sept. 22 at Flat Rock Pentecostal Holiness Church. The ceremony was performed by pastor David Sparks.

About 30 family members and close friends of the couple attended.

Music was furnished by the bride’s eldest grandson, James Goodman.

Immediately following the ceremony everyone was invited to a reception at 13 Bones Restaurant.

The bride’s daughters surprised the couple with a wedding cake and a banner of congratulations. The bride’s grandsons, L.J. and Andrew Goins, assisted in serving the cake after dinner.

The bridegroom’s daughter and family presented the couple with a picture frame for their wedding portrait. The bride’s sister remembered the couple with a wedding photograph album.

Following the dinner, the bridal couple departed on a trip to Myrtle Beach, S.C.
