The Mayberry Magic AAU traveling girls team will hold tryouts for fifth and sixth-graders on Tuesday at Franklin Elementary School. The tryouts are scheduled to begin at 6 p.m.

Other area tryouts scheduled
The Surry Shock 14U fastpitch tryouts are scheduled to be held on Saturday and March 9 at Fisher River Park in Dobson. The tryouts are scheduled to be held from 1 to 3 p.m. and are open to ages 14 years old and younger.
