The GSRS (Genealogical Society of Rockingham & Stokes Counties, NC) FALL SWAP MEETING will be SATURDAY, OCTOBER 31, 2009 9 am until 4pm. Our Fall Swap meeting will be at the Madison Moose Lodge at 490 K Fork Road in Madison. (Turn across from Checkers Grill & Grocery off 311 onto NC 1162) There will be signs to help you find the Meeting. Our Swap Meetings are a great opportunity to both share your research and hopefully resolve some of your brick walls. We always have a wonderful time. So bring your family research, photos and other materials to share with others, and spend the day. We would like for you to make a family tree (pedigree) sheet to put out on the table so everyone can see who is researching which families. A copying machine will be available for your use (10 cents per copy to help deter cost.) Light refreshments will be provided. This meeting is free and open to the public.
