To the Editor,
You printed an excellent letter from Jane Tesh in the Letter to the Editor section of the September 24 newspaper. Ms. Tesh holds a Baccalaureate in English from Lenoir Rhyne, a Master’s in Education from UNC-G, and is a published author. She was Librarian at Jones Elementary School in Mount Airy for 30 years.
She is NOT a “reader upset about dog tether law” as your headline states. She is a reader upset about the Commissioners’ ongoing failure to take action on the matters of severe dog neglect facing our county. I think she is owed a correction. Her comments were entirely pro tether law.
