DOBSON — Surry Community College has announced plans for this year’s summer volleyball camp.

Head coach Jan Marion-Kiser will lead the camp July 14-17 in the college gym. It is open to girls ages 6-16.

The days will be split into two sessions, based on player experience.

The morning session each day will run from 9 a.m. to noon. This is for beginners with less than a year of experience.

The afternoon session from 1-4 p.m. is for those with more than a year of experience.

The cost of the camp is $40 per child or $30 each when two or more come from the same family. This fee includes a camp T-shirt.

Registration will be held 30 minutes before the start of each session on the first day (8:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.).

Knee pads are encouraged, but not required. Gatorade and water will be available at all times. For snacks, the college’s Knights Grill will be open for purchases.

For more information, see the college website at www.surryknights.com or contact Jan Marion-Kiser (336) 468-7191 or Mark Tucker (336) 386-3217.
