Mount Airy picked up a 10-1 win over Walkertown in Northwest 1A Conference soccer on Wednesday.

Freshman Jaden Brinkley scored three goals for the hat trick to lead the Lady Bears. Marissa Petri had two goals and two assists and Kathryn Beasley scored twice.

Kimberly Lachino had one goal and one assist, Jessica Miranda had a goal and an assist, Janeth Escutia had a goal, Carly Clark had one assist.

Ailia Halpern had two goal saves for the Bears. Walkertown got its only goal off a free kick.

“We were trying to work on some things for upcoming games,” Mount Airy coach Will Hurley said. “I thought our back line did a good job. Calle Fulton did a real good job crossing the ball tonight. Ana Ortiz on the back line did a super job. The girls did a good job passing. We are trying to work on possessing the ball more.”

Mount (7-6-1 overall, 3-2 conference) hosts North Wilkes on Wednesday.
