Tuesday’s story on the Northwest All-Conference Team for football omitted one name.

North Stokes’ Jonah Slate made the first team for offense, the lone Viking on the squad.

Slate, a receiver, caught 32 of the 42 completed passes for the Vikings this season. He scored three touchdowns via the pass.

He also was used on several end-around plays, picking up 237 yards with a 5.0 yards-per-carry average. He also added two touchdowns on the ground, giving him five overall.

His 630 all-purpose yards led the Vikings.
