The following incidents are under investigation by the Surry County Sheriff’s Office:


• On Jan. 4, Jennifer Elizabeth Clement, 41, of Adams Gate Way in Mount Airy, reported that someone stole her debit card. Purchases made on the card were valued at $295, according to police reports.


• On Jan. 4, Alvin Colonel Ayers, 62, of Culler Road in Pinnacle, reported that someone stole a Savage 7mm rifle with a custom barrel and a Leupold scope. The rife and scope were valued at $2,300.


• On Jan. 4, Krysti Beth Bayless, 36, of Quaker road in Mount Airy, reported that someone entered her home through an unlocked window, damaging a screen. Nothing was reported stolen in the incident, according to police.


• On Jan. 3, Eddie Merritt Gordon, 64, of Pinnacle Hotel Road in Pinnacle, reported that someone damaged three windows on his vehicle, causing $1,250 in damage.


• On Jan. 3, Willard Bullins, 69, of N. Main Street in Mount Airy, reported that someone forced open a door to a vacant residence he owns located on Freeman Ridge Trail in Pilot Mountain. Damage in the incident was valued at $200.


• On Jan. 3, Sumer Nicole Hiatt, 24, of City View Drive in Mount Airy, reported that someone stole a bottle of 80 Oxycodone tablets. The prescription was valued at $40.
