The following incidents are under investigation by the Surry County Sheriff’s Office:


• On Dec. 1, Andrew Vance Inman, 32, of Kermit Lewis Road in Pilot Mountain, reported that someone attempted to break into his home.


• On Dec. 1, Benton Spencer Gillespie, 57, of Old Rockford Road in Dobson, reported that someone threw a rock through a window of his home. The window was valued at $300.


• On Nov. 30, Tamrin Lynn Linville, 38, of Springview Lane in Mount Airy, reported that someone stole a Vizio 43” television. The television was valued at $400.


• On Nov. 30, employees at Northwest Motors, located on Pine Street in Mount Airy, reported that someone attempted to break into a Coca Cola machine, causing $1,500 in damage to the machine.


• On Nov. 29, Tina Louise Smith, 42, of Kensington Drive in Mount Airy, reported that someone used her debit card to make $130 in purchases.


• On Nov. 29, Robert Allen Cahall, 49, of Palmer Road in Mount Airy, reported that someone broke into his home and stole his pet Chihuahua. No value of the animal was listed on the report.


• On Nov. 29, officials at Westwood Baptist Church, located on Westfield Road in Mount Airy, reported that someone stole 75 feet of aluminum gutters from their building. The gutters were valued at $250.


• On Nov. 29, Jeffrey Lee Davis, 54, of John Davis Road in Dobson, reported that someone stole a Ruger .380 pistol from his home. The handgun was valued at $300.


• On Nov. 28, Joy Lynn Nowlin, 41, of Aberdeen Lane in Mount Airy, reported that someone broke into her home and stole various electronics and cash. The items taken during the incident were valued at $980.


• On Nov. 28, Rex Allen Foster, 58, of Stony Ridge Road in Pinnacle, reported that someone attempted to break into his home, causing $100 in damage to a set of French doors.


• On Nov. 28, Jamie Maxwell Bowman, 22, of Aberdeen Lane in Mount Airy, reported that someone broke into his home and stole a computer and various electronics. The items taken were valued at $2,000.
