Arrests

The Surry County Sheriff’s Office has reported the following arrests:


• On Sept. 22, Terry Lavelle Adams, 20, of Chestnut Ridge Road in Mount Airy, was arrested and charged with a probation violation. He was booked into the Surry County Jail under a $5,000 secured bond.


• On Sept. 22, Patrick Aaron Wagner, 21, of North Williams Street in Jonesville, was arrested and charged with 10 counts of felony probation violation. He ws booked into the Surry County Jail under a $10,000 secured bond.


• On Sept. 22, Jason Anthony Hall, 31, of Faith Lane in Ararat, was arrested and charged with one count each of felony larceny, interfering with emergency communications and the possession of burglary tools. He was booked into the Surry County Jail under a $1,000 secured bond.


• On Sept. 20, Sammy Dale White, 53, of Rockford Road in Dobson, was arrested and charged with one count of assault with a deadly weapon, inflicting serious injury. He was booked into the Surry County Jail on a $500 secured bond.


• On Sept. 19, Bobby Lee Lambert, 50, of Lakeshore Lane in Mount Airy, was arrested and charged with obtaining property by false pretenses and the delivery or acceptance of an open title. He was released from the Surry County Jail under a written promise to appear in court.


Incidents

Deputies with the Surry County Sheriff’s Office are investigating the following incidents:


• On Sept. 19, Dwight Anthony Brintle, 58, of Old Main Street in Mount Airy, reported the theft of two air conditioning units from windows at a property located on Wind Chime Lane. The two air conditioners were valued at $200.


• On Sept. 20, Rolnald Gray Bryant, 63, of Rocky Point, reported the theft of various tools and electronics from property located on Inglewood Road in Mount Airy. The items taken were valued at $2,700.


• On Sept. 20, Charles William Mabe, 60, of Rosewood Drive in Mount Airy, reported the theft of a license plate from his vehicle. The license plate had a listed value of $30.


• On Sept. 20, Willie Hugh Gammons, 37, of Mount Herman Church Road in Mount Airy, reported that someone broke into his home and stole a computer and several guns. The items taken were valued at $2,200.


• On Sept. 20, Timothy Lester Benton, 51, of Border Lane in Pinnacle, reported that someone attempted to steal gasoline from a vehicle and tried to break into an outbuilding on his property.


• On Sept. 21, officials with Holly Springs Baptist Church, located on Holly Springs Road in Mount Airy, reported the theft of an air conditioning unit and copper piping. The items taken had a listed valiue of $5,040.


• On Sept 22, Jimmy Sebastian Southard, 75, of Southard Road in Elkin, reported the larceny of a bottle of prescription pain medication. The pills had a listed value of $10.


• On Sept. 22, Edwin Robert Lewis, 30, of Wondering Walk Trail in Lowgap, reported that someone scratched the paint on his vehicle, causing $500 in damage.


• On Sept. 22, Diane Parks Holt, 41, of Siloam Road in Mount Airy, reported the theft of a sports car power wheel toy and a metal folding dog crate. The items taken were valued at $250.


• On Sept. 22, Kevin Wayne Lowe, 39, of Rebel Trail in Lowgap, reported the theft of an air conditioning unit and copper piping. The Trane air conditioner and piping were valued at $4,100.
