Administrative professionals are often the glue that holds businesses and organizations together, and the Greater Mount Airy Chamber of Commerce hands out an award to an administrative professional in the community each year at the Administrative Professional Day Luncheon.
Nominations are now open for this year’s Administrative Professional of the Year.
The award honors an individual who strives to achieve high levels of personal and professional accomplishment. The person should also excel in their field, devote time and energy to their community, and serve as a role model or mentor to colleagues, peers, and/or friends, according to the chamber.

- The nominee should represent the Mount Airy or Surry County area through progressive business activity and/or community involvement.
- The administrative professional should be considered a role model and/or mentor.
- The recipient must be in attendance at the chamber’s Administrative Professional Day Luncheon.
- Letters of recommendation are welcome, at a maximum of two letters.
