New parents Brittany Kay Venable and Zane Ray Tate, of Lowgap, welcomed brand new baby boy, Hunter Ray Tate on Jan. 3, delivered via c-section at Northern Hospital of Surry County. Little Hunter Ray Tate weighed 6 pounds, 9 ounces and was 19 inches long. The smiling and happy new parents were surrounded by loving family, friends, and new grandparents on Saturday afternoon as they showed off their brand new bundle of joy. “It feels good to be a new mom,” Brittany said, with a huge smile. “We are so excited,” she added, looking at Zane, and then both looked down to their new son with admiration.
