Surry County Sheriff Reports


DOBSON — The Surry County Sheriff’s Office has released the following arrest reports:

• Dino Dennis Greene Jr., 30, listed as homeless, was served an order for arrest at the detention center Monday for failure to appear in court Aug. 31 for shoplifting. He was given a $7,500 secured bond and a Nov. 3 court date.

Greene previously spent time in jail for felony larceny and felony obtaining property by false pretense.

• James Henry Lineback III, 26, listed as homeless, was served warrants Monday on charges of larceny and larceny of a vehicle (both recent) and second-degree trespassing (which goes back to June 5). He was confined on a $6,000 secured bond with a Nov. 11 court date.

• Jamie Lamonte Wood, 44, of Newman Road, Elkin, was served an order for arrest Oct. 14 on a charge of failure to appear in court Oct. 11 on a charge of larceny from a merchant. He was given a $500 secured bond and a Dec. 14 court date.

Wood also has a Nov. 8 court date in Stokes County on a charge of larceny from a merchant (with baby formula listed on the report) as well as possession of stolen goods. He has a Dec. 6 court date in Yadkin County for speeding and driving while license revoked (not impaired).

• Sarah Elizabeth Lowe, 33, of Haystack Road, Dobson, was served warrants Oct. 14 on charges of possession of meth and possession of drug paraphernalia, both dated the day before. She was given a $1,000 secured bond and a Nov. 22 court date.

• Jason William Johnson, 37, of Greenhouse Trail, Lowgap, was served an order for arrest Oct. 15 for failure to appear in court Aug. 25 in Yadkin County on a charge of second-degree trespassing. The report says he was released on a written promise to appear in court Dec. 15 in Yadkinville.

• Kandra Leigh McBride, 25, of Bradys Home Lane, Mount Airy, was served an order for arrest at the courthouse Oct. 16 for failure to appear in court on a prior charge of driving while impaired and possession of marijuana paraphernalia. She was given a $1,000 secured bond and a Dec. 14 court date.

• Lucas Dalton Jones, 19, of Special K Trail, Mount Airy, was served an order for arrest at the courthouse Oct. 16 for failure to appear in court on prior charges of speeding and unsafe lane changes. He was given a $500 cash bond and a Nov. 8 court date.

• Shane Everett McMillian, 25, of Chestnut Ridge Road, Mount Airy, was served an order for arrest Oct. 16 for failure to appear in court Sept. 19. He was given a $3,000 secured bond and a court date the next day. McMillian also has court dates of Nov. 3 and 15 for the charges of assault on a female.

• Darrell Gregory Draughn Jr., 31, of Turner Mountain Road, Mount Airy, was served a warrant Oct. 16 on a charge of going armed to the terror of the public, dated Oct. 14. He was given a $500 unsecured bond and a Nov. 1 court date.

• Amanda Starr Montgomery, 38, Hunter Ridge Lane, Ararat, was served an order for arrest on a charge of Forsyth County Oct. 17. No bond was given, and no court date was listed on the arrest report. She does not have a court date listed on the N.C. Court System website.

• Kevin Dean McBride, 40, of Prison Camp Road, Dobson, was served a warrant Oct. 17 on chargesof assault with a deadly weapon, dated Oct. 15 for the city of Mount Airy. He was given a $1,000 secured bond and a Dec. 11 court date.
