Surry County Sheriff Reports


DOBSON — The Surry County Sheriff’s Office has released the following arrest reports:

• Nicholas Cody Hull, 27, of Lakeview Drive, Dobson, was served warrants Oct. 10 on charges of breaking and entering, larceny after breaking and entering, and possession of stolen goods. He was given a $15,000 secured bond and a Nov. 9 court date.

• Ronald Dwayne Easter, 37, was served an order for arrest Oct. 11 on charges of three counts of failure to appear in court. The original charges were violating a restraining order, assault on a female and probation violations. He was given a $12,000 secured bond and court dates of Nov. 1 and Dec. 13.

• Janie Lennette Waller, 35, of Athey Simmons Road, Mount Airy, was served an order for arrest Oct. 9 for nonsupport of a child. She was given a $242 secured bond and an Oct. 16 court date.

• Robert William Dickson, 32, of Pine Ridge Road, Mount Airy, was served an order for arrest Oct. 10 for charges of speeding, reckless driving to endanger and no operator’s license, all dated March 3 in Hertford County. He was given a $300 cash bond and a Dec. 13 court date in Winton.

• Zackary Wade Johnson, 30, of Splendor Lane, Mount Airy, was served an order for arrest Oct. 10 on a charge of nonsupport of a child. He was given a $1,300 secured bond and an Oct. 16 court date.

• Anthony Briggs Bottoms, 26, listed as homeless, was served a warrant at the magistrate’s office in Dobson on charges of shoplifting and concealment, dated June 9 for the city of Mount Airy. He was given a $500 secured bond and a Dec. 4 court date.

• Kimberly Michelle Torres, 32, of Draughn Road, Elkin, was served an order for arrest Oct. 10 on a charge of failure to appear in court Sept. 29 on a charge of failing to follow the school attendance law. She was given a $1,000 secured bond and a Dec. 1 court date.

• Stephanie Rippey Wall, 35, of Preston Lane, Mount Airy, was served a warrant Oct. 11 on a charge of larceny, dated Sept. 4. She was given a $1,000 unsecured bond and a Dec. 12 court date.

• Roger Eugene Vogler III, 31, of Winston-Salem, was served an order for arrest on Interstate 77 at mile marker 105 Oct. 12 on a charge of failure to appear in court in Stokes County Sept. 5 on the charges of driving while license revoked (not impaired) and having a fictitious/altered vehicle registration or tag. He was given a $500 cash bond and a Nov. 17 court date in Danbury.

Vogler also has a Dec. 15 court date in Surry County on charges of failing to maintain lane control, hit and run causing damage, and driving while license revoked (not impaired).

• Lewis James Young, 44, of Hickory, was served an order for arrest in Dobson on a charge of failure to appear in court in Burke County Sept. 26 on the charge of probation violations. He was given a $5,000 secured bond and a Dec. 7 court date in Morganton. According to the arresting officer’s notes, Young turned himself in and was staying at Hope Valley, a rehabilitation center.

• Wendy Nichole Hawks, 30, of West Cleve Street, Mount Airy, was served an order for arrest Oct. 12 on a charge of failure to appear in court earlier that day on a charge of driving while impaired. She was given a $1,000 secured bond and a Nov. 17 court date.

• Jerry Dennis Hunter, 42, of Haymore Street, Mount Airy, was served a warrant at the courthouse Oct. 12 charging him with violating a restraining order. The victim is listed as Amanda Belt of Mount Airy. He was given a $10,000 secured bond and a Nov. 3 court date.

• Phyllis Ann Kays, 67, of Shoals Road, Pinnacle, was served an order for arrest Oct. 12 at the courthouse on a charge of failure to appear in court Aug. 4 on counts of show cause and failure to pay fines. She was given a $325 secured bond and a Dec. 1 court date.

• Christopher Boyd Law, 43, of Gwynwood Drive, Mount Airy, was served an order for arrest Oct. 13 on a charge of failure to appear in court Oct. 9. He was given a $6,000 secured bond and an Oct. 13 court date.
