Surry County Sheriff Reports


DOBSON — The Surry County Sheriff’s Office has released the following arrest reports:

• Gavin Marcel Green, 26, of N.C. 268, Pinnacle, was served an order for arrest Tuesday for missing court dates for his several charges.

He faces several counts of second-degree trespassing, as well as criminal trespassing, two counts of violating a restraining order, assault on a female, simple assault, first-degree burglary, driving while license revoked (not impaired), no license, and hit-and-run leaving the scene of property damage.

His bond was set at $75,000 secured. His charges are spread out over Nov. 13, Dec. 6 and Dec. 20.

• Charles Lee Tate, 47, of Old Lowgap Road, Lowgap, was served an order for arrest Sept. 24 for failure to appear in court Aug. 23. He was given a $795 cash bond and a Jan. 8, 2018, court date. The charges include no drivers license, reckless driving to endanger, fleeing to elude arrest, show cause, and failure to pay fines in the amount of $795.

• Ryan Chase Anthony, 34, of Lyles Street, Elkin, was served an order for arrest Sept. 25 for two counts of failure to appear in court. He is charged with possession of a schedule II drug and resisting an officer, as well as violating his probation. He was given a $2,000 secured bond and an Oct. 11 court date.

• Lynn Boyd Jessup, 72, of Winston-Salem, was served a warrant at the county courthouse Sept. 25 for assault. The victim is listed as Sam Aldridge of Pinnacle. Jessup was given a $500 unsecured bond, with no court date listed.

• Jacob Paul Church, 35, of Westover Drive, Mount Airy, was served a warrant Sept. 25 for possession of drug paraphernalia. He was given a $500 bond and an Oct. 24 court date.

• Jessica Lee Kelley, 35, of Grassy Creek Road, Pinnacle, was served an order for arrest Sept. 26 for failure to appear in court Sept. 19 in Jackson County on charges of possession of meth and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was given a $1,500 secured bond and a Nov. 28 court date.

• Rodney Christopher Goodwin, 29, of Pine Ridge Road, Mount Airy, was served an order for arrest Sept. 26 for failure to appear in court Sept. 14. He was given a $500 secured bond and an Oct. 12 court date.

• Mitchell D. Arrington, 28, of Fancy Gap Road, Mount Airy, was served an order for arrest Sept. 26 for failure to appear in court Aug. 28 on the charge of nonsupport of a child. He was given a $1,630 cash bond and an Oct. 2 court date.

• Donna Marye Vasquez-Rios, 57, of Old Buck Shoals Road, Mount Airy, was served warrants Sept. 27 for delivering schedule II drugs and maintaining a drug vehicle or dwelling. She was given a $1,000 secured bond and an Oct. 26 court date.

• Dylan Blaze Brintle, 24, of Sidden Street, Mount Airy, was served a warrant for failure to appear in court Sept. 22 on a charge of nonsupport of a child. He was given a $1,000 cash bond and an Oct. 2 court date.

• Jerry Anthony Moyano, 28, of King, was served an order for arrest in Dobson Sept. 28 for failure to appear in court May 17 on a charge of making threatening phone calls. He was given a $2,615 cash bond and an Oct. 5 court date.

• Elijah Blaise Calloway, 18, of Bon Aire Road, Elkin, was served warrants Sept. 28 for injury to personal property and communicating threats. The complainant is listed as Cassidy Thomas of Mount Airy. He was given a $2,000 secured bond and an Oct. 27 court date.

• Allison Lettie Edwards, 25, of Lexington, was served an order for arrest while already at the detention center in Dobson Sept. 28. She is charged with failure to appear in court Aug. 23 and felony fugitive from justice. She was given a $6,500 secured bond and an Oct. 25 court date.

• Robert Shane Watson, 46, of Lynn Road, Mount Airy, was served warrants Sept. 28 for assault on a female and sexual battery, dated Aug. 29. The victim is listed as Elicia Estes of Stokes County. Watson was given a $2,000 unsecured bond and an Oct. 9 court date in Danbury.
