Surry County Sheriff Reports


DOBSON — The Surry County Sheriff’s Office has released the following arrest reports:

• Martha Ann Chandler, 50, of Brittany Lane, Mount Airy, was served a criminal summons Sept. 4 on three counts of writing worthless checks, dated November 2016. The complainants are listed as Dobson Produce and King’s Garage. She was given a Sept. 22 court date.

• Whitney Renee Quesinberry, 25, of Pine Ridge Road, Lowgap, was served a criminal summons Sept. 4 on charges of breaking and entering and first-degree trespassing, both dated Aug. 24. She was given a Sept. 29 court date.

• David Allen Lowe, 25, and Amanda Marie Lowe, 23, of Patriot Place, Dobson, were served criminal summonses Sept. 5 on a charge of willful destruction of property by a tenant, dated Aug. 7. They were both given Sept. 8 court dates.

• William Shane East, 33, of Dare Lane, Mount Airy, was serve an order for arrest Sept. 5 for two counts of failure to appear in court. One dated Nov. 28 is for nonsupport of a child, while the other dated May 16 is for multiple driving offenses. He was given a $6,828 bond with a Sept. 21 court date.

The traffic-stop charges include driving while impaired, driving left of center, civil revocation of license for 30 days, driving while license revoked (impaired), misdemeanor possession of a schedule VI drug, and possession of marijuana paraphernalia.

• Suarini Yeraslin Perez-Garcia, 20, of Circle Drive, Mount Airy, was served an order for arrest Sept. 5 on a charge of failure to appear in court May 17 on a charge of nonsupport of a child. She was given a $1,455 cash bond and a Sept. 18 court date.

• Jamie Keith Barr, 27, of South Main Street, Dobson, was served an order for arrest Sept. 6 for failure to appear in court the day before for possession of stolen goods. He was given a $4,000 secured bond and an Oct. 30 court date.

• Gregory Wayne Childress Jr., 32, of Old Toast Road, Mount Airy, was served an order for arrest Sept. 6 for failure to appear in court July 26 on a charge of possession of a schedule II drug. He was given a $300 secured bond and a Sept. 27 court date.

• Steven Gregory Fulk, 28, of Pleasant Drive, Mount Airy, was served a warrant Sept. 6 on a charge of violating a protective order. He was given a court date later that day. The complainant was listed as Montia Midkiff.

• Steven Louis Senter, 44, listed as homeless, was served an order for arrest at the courthouse Sept. 6 on the charge of being a habitual felon. He was given no bond with a court date later that day.

• Steven D. Blevins, 40, of Poplar Springs Road, Elkin, was served an order for arrest Sept. 6 on a charge of nonsupport of a child in Yadkin County. He was given a $2,000 secured bond and a Sept. 11 court date.

• Flora Janet Avila Serrano, 38, of Winston-Salem, was served an order for arrest at the county detention center Sept. 6 for failure to appear in court. According to the court docket, she is charged with having an expired operator’s license. She was given a $5,000 secured bond and an Oct. 12 court date in Winston-Salem.
