Mountain Valley Hospice & Palliative Care will celebrate the relocation of their Re-Sale Shoppe, with a grand re-opening on Friday, Sept. 15, at 10 a.m. The public is invited to attend the ribbon cutting, then shop in the new store.
The Mountain Valley Hospice Re-Sale Shoppe serves the community by selling gently-used items, the proceeds from which go to support and sustain hospice services to terminally ill patients and their families. Mountain Valley also redistributes donated household items directly to patients as needed.
Local individuals can support the Mountain Valley Hospice mission by donating to the Re-Sale Shoppe. The store particularly needs clothing, purses and handbags, furniture, appliances (large and small), books, glassware, housewares, lamps, and artwork. Donated items must be clean, and slightly used or new. All electronics and appliances must be in working condition.
The new Re-Sale Shoppe is located at 461 North South Street, Suite #100, Mount Airy. Store hours are Tuesday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. For more information, contact store manager Marisa Miller at 336-789-1230, or visit the Re-Sale Shoppe’s Facebook page.
