Surry County Sheriff Reports


DOBSON — The Surry County Sheriff’s Office has released the following arrest reports:

• Madison Ann Ray, 26, of Mike Street, Dobson, was served an order for arrest for two charges in Stokes and one in Surry County Aug. 10.

She faces two counts of failure to appear in court on charges of larceny. She was given a $3,500 cash bond in Surry County and an Aug. 25 court date.

She was charged with aiding/abetting impaired driving and allowing unlicensed person to drive. She was given two $300 cash bonds in Stokes County with Aug. 29 court dates.

According to the arrest report, Ray also faces a failure to appear count for charges of possession of schedule IV drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Heather Sunshine Simmons, 36, Cedarbrook Road, Jonesville, was served an order for arrest Aug. 10 for a probation violation. She was given a $25,000 secured bond and an Aug. 30 court date in Yadkinville.

• Shaun Harley Palmer, 31, of Towe Road, Pilot Mountain, was served a criminal summons Aug. 9 on a charge of financial card fraud and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, both dated June 9. The victim is listed as Lisa Bond of Siloam. He was given an Aug. 26 court date. Also on the docket for that date is a charge of possession of a schedule II drug.

• Angela Hope Holder, 31, of 410 Union Church Road, Mount Airy, was served an order for arrest Aug. 9 for failure to appear in court on Aug. 3 to face a charge of possession of marijuana up to half an ounce. She was given a $300 cash bond and a court date for the next day.

On Aug. 11 Holder was served a criminal summons at the detention center for unauthorized use of a vehicle. The complainant is listed as Deborah Jean Edwards. Holder was given an Aug. 28 court date.

• Jacquelin Jacobs Kipp, 64, of Twin Oaks Road, Dobson, was served a criminal summons Aug. 9 on a count of communicating a threat dated July 12. The complainant is listed as Megan Cox of Elkin. She was given an Aug. 11 court date.

• Renegar Shana Gail, 38, of Piney Grove Road, Mount Airy, was served a criminal summons Aug. 9 for counts of assault and battery and injury to property, dated Aug. 4. The complainant is listed as Sherry France. She was given a Sept. 8 court date.

• Tonya Kaye Edwards, 36, Tom Cook Road, Mount Airy, was served a warrant for shoplifting and a criminal summons for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle on Aug. 9. She was given a $500 secured bond and a Sept. 13 court date.

• Jason Matthew Wilkins, 33, King, was served an order for arrest and a warrant on Aug. 9. He is facing three counts of breaking into a vehicle, three counts of larceny and one count of assault on a female, all in Forsyth County.

According to court calendars, he has a Sept. 12 date in Forsyth for attempted credit card fraud. The breaking and entering and larceny charges are on Oct. 5. The assault charge is Aug. 21.

• Chadwick Dean Moore, 42, of Snowberry Lane, Dobson, was served a warrant Aug. 9. for two counts of assault on a female. The victim is listed as Tanya Moore. He was given a $500 unsecured bond and a Sept. 15 court date.

• Zane Ray Tate, 23, of Logging Lane, Lowgap, was served a criminal summons Aug. 9 for assault and battery, dated June 22. The victim is listed as Bradley Crouse of Mount Airy. Tate was given a Sept. 15 court date.

• Steve Arrants Randolph, 57, of Gillespie Road, Dobson, was served a criminal summons Aug. 10 for failure to return rental property dated June 13 in Yadkin County. The complainant is Rent A Center of Jonesville. He was given a Sept. 15 court date in Yadkinville.

• Bradley Edmond Hunt, 30, of Woltz Atkins Road, Mount Airy, was served a criminal summons for assault on a female Aug. 11. The victim is listed as Jessica Nichole Hunt of the same address. He was given a Sept. 8 court date.
