Mountain Valley Hospice is hosting its first July Jam on Saturday from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., which will include several artists with local ties.
Pilot Mountain native and Nashville music star Emily Kate is among those scheduled to take part. She will be joined by Winston-Salem’s Martha Bassett and Surry County’s Mickey Galyean and Cullen’s Bridge.
All proceeds from the event will go to support Mountain Valley Hospice programs and services.
“We want to reach out to as many folks as possible to let them know who we are and what we do for terminally ill patients and their families. July Jam is a great way to do that,” said Brett Willis, director of Development for Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care.
Tickets are $30 in advance, $35 at the door. Admission includes a BBQ dinner, a glass of wine, and live entertainment.
Seating is limited to 175, so tickets will be sold on a first come, first served basis.
July Jam will be held at The FarmHouse Siloam, 2738 Siloam Rd, in Mount Airy.
