Surry County Sheriff Reports


DOBSON — The Surry County Sheriff’s Office has released the following arrest reports:

• Shanna Rose Caudle, 28, of Yadkinville, was arrested July 12 on counts of larceny and exploiting a disabled person, for July 6 and 7 warrants in Yadkin County. She was given a $3,000 secured bond and an Aug. 15 court date in Yadkinville.

• Kimberly Michelle Torres, 32, of Draughn Road, Elkin, was served an order for arrest on July 12 for three counts of failure to appear in court. One of the charges was for driving while license revoked. She was given a $10,000 secured bond with a trial date later that same day.

According to the N.C. Department of Public Safety, Torres was convicted of driving while license revoked and given a suspended sentence with 12 months of probation.

• Daniel Beemer, 29, of Pat Irwin Road, Pilot Mountain, was served a criminal summons July 12 for breaking and entering and injury to personal property. The complainant is Katie Knowles of Spring Lake. He received a July 31 court date in Fayetteville.

• Jacquez Malecka Green, 18, of Main Street, Mount Airy, was served a warrant July 14 for misdemeanor larceny, dated June 28, with the complainant listed as Joyce Perry. He has an Aug. 4 court date for larceny. He has an Aug. 15 date for felony breaking into a vehicle, larceny, probation violation, possession of a schedule IV drug, possession of marijuana up to half an ounce, and possession of marijuana paraphernalia.

• Kay Brittany Johnson, 27, of Yadkinville, was served an order for arrest at the courthouse July 14 for failure to appear last November to face a charge of nonsupport of a child. She was given a $600 cash bond with a trial date to be set in Yadkinville.

• Shawn Phalen Murphy, 26, of Pearman Lane, Ararat, was served warrants on July 14 for larceny and unauthorized use of a vehicle, with the complainant listed as Daniel Murphy of the same address. Shawn Murphy has a July 24 court date for a separate shoplifting chargem then she has an Aug. 12 court date for these charges.

• Katie Danielle Cribb, 28, of Herring Street, Mount Airy, was served warrants July 15 for larceny and possession of stolen goods, with the complainant listed as Brandon Stone of Mount Airy. She was given a July 31 court date.

• Octavio Huerta Ponce, 26, of Iris Lane, Dobson, was served an order for arrest July 16 for failure to appear in court in Johnston County in May. He was given a $250 secured bond and an Aug. 15 court date in Smithfield.

• Heather Nicole Mills, 28, of Camp Creek, West Virginia, was served an order for arrest in Dobson for failure to appear in court in Guilford County in February. She was given a $30,000 secured bond and a July 24 court date in High Point.

• Logan Marie King, 28, of Newrell Johnson Road, Mount Airy, was served a warrant July 17 in the courthouse for first-degree trespassing while there for a child support case. The complainant is Jody Lee King of Mount Airy. She was given a $200 unsecured bond and an Aug. 11 court date.

• Richard Carl Brown, 40, of Charlotte, was served an order for arrest July 17 at the county detention center for two counts of failure to appear in court July 12 in Yadkin County. The prior charges were second-degree trespassing and consumption of a malt beverage outside of a bar. He was given a $450 bond and a Sept. 6 court date in Yadkinville.

He has a July 28 date in Dobson on charges of larceny and possession of stolen goods. He also has an Aug. 17 date in Dobson for larceny and shoplifting.

• Amanda Marie Whitaker, 33, of Lyndsey Way, Dobson, was served a warrant July 18 for nonsupport of a child. She was given an $850 cash bond and a court date the same day.

• Rodney Tyrone Travis, 43, of West Pine Street, Mount Airy, was served orders for arrest at the courthouse July 18 for two counts of assault on a female, injury to property and one count of failure to appear in court for disorderly conduct. He was given a $3,000 secured bond and an Aug. 31 court date.

• James Edward Dockins, 73, of Galax, Virginia, was served with four warrants at the courthouse for writing worthless checks, with D.J. Galaxy grocery as the complainant. Three counts were listed as Feb. 24 and one on Feb. 25. He was given a $1,000 unsecured bond and an Aug. 25 court date.

• Levi Daniel Hill, 37, no address listed, was served warrants on July 18 for assault on a female, assault with a deadly weapon and communicating threats. The complainant is Sandra Dawn Hooks of Mount Airy. He was given no bond and an Aug. 11 court date.

• Kevin Andrew Wilson, 32, of Dunaway Lane, Pilot Mountain, was served an order for arrest July 19 for failure to appear in court on a charge of simple assault. He was given a $500 secured bond and an Aug. 18 court date.

• Pamela Darline Lambert, 50, of Starlite Road, Mount Airy, was served a criminal summons July 19 for writing a worthless check. The complainant is Walmart of Mount Airy. She has a Sept. 8 court date.
