Sheriff’s Office Reports


Sandy Dwight Vestal, 47, of Dry Wall Road, State Road, reported a lost pistol. The Sept. 11 reports that the firearm, valued at $429, had been laid on her car. The serial number was entered into the National Crime Information Center.

Denny Allen Butcher, 43, reported a breaking and entering at his East Pine Street home in Mount Airy. According to the Sept. 11 report, the garage door was opened and several items were removed from the garage. The missing items included miscellaneous power and hand tools, an air compressor, a chainsaw and 16 inch blade, a 42 cc weedeater, a table saw and a wheeled toolbox. The items’ value totaled $2,925.

Sandy Ray Robertson, 26, of Casper Stewart Road, Lowgap, reported his white 1999 Lincoln Town Carstolen from his driveway. According to the Sept. 11. report, the vehicle, valued at $2,500, was recovered.

Daniel Garland Edwards, 49, reported a break in at his home at Green Acres Court, Mount Airy. The Sept. 11 report states that a door was kicked in and $500 of electronic devises removed: a 70 inch flat screen television, a Time Warner DVR box, a Time Warner modem, a wireless router and an HP printer.

Michael Ephiraim Clark, 44, of Hiatt Road, Mount Airy, reported a firearm valued at $400 was removed from his home on Sept. 11.

Bonnie Wright Donithan, 55, of Oak Circle, Mount Airy, reported a break in at Sarah Street in Mount Airy on Sept. 11. No items were listed as stolen, a padlock and cable valuing $15 were damaged.

Michael Dale Butner, 47, of Blue Sky Lane, Lowgap, reported a North Carolina license plate stolen from his vehicle while parked on West Pine Street in Lowgap.

Faye Edith Cox, 47, of Sheets Park Lane, Mount Airy, reported that a suspect entered her home and stole a twenty dollar bill.

Larry Wayne Lawson, 59, of Casstevens Road, Mount Airy, reported on Sept. 12 that a nearly full five gallon gas can, valued at $30, was stolen from his shed.

Jerome Allen Trent, 35, of Turner Mountain Road, Mount Airy, reported that his home was shot at with a paint ball gun. The vandalism caused $500 damage to the vinyl siding.

Deborah Adams Samaroo, 52, of North Key Street, Pilot Mountain, reported on Sept. 11 that her cell phone was lost at a store in Dobson which was later found by mapping it.

Steven Todd Tolbert, 51, of Beechnut Lane, Mount Airy, reported a scam on Sept. 11 where he was sent a check from a sweepstakes.

Clara Ramey Seaver, 67, of Partridge Street, Mount Airy, reported a scam on Sept. 13. According to the report, Seaver gave demographic information to an unknown source.
