The following incidences were reported to the Surry County Sheriff’s Office:
Mary Susan Lowry Dawson, 60, of McBride Road, Mount Airy, reported on August 30 that a black rear tine tiller, valued at $600, had been removed from her back patio.
Gary Ray Edwards, of Old Toast Road, Mount Airy, reported on August 30 an unauthorized entry into his property where a suspect burned items. A $25 television case was listed damaged or stolen.
Jessica Leann Bass, 23, of Bates Hill Lane, Thurmond, reported a breaking and entering of her vehicle. No damage or theft was reported.
Brandon Lee Heath, 22, of Bullington Road, Pinnacle, reported on August 29 a breaking and entering at his home. Miscellaneous jewelry and precious metals valued at $500 were reported stolen.
Employees of Dollar General on East Pine Street in Mount Airy reported on August 29 a larceny where a suspect stole two boxes of Fixodent valued at $4.25 each.
Vernon Paul Medley, 81, of Poplar Springs Road, Elkin, reported on August 28 a larceny and unauthorized use of a grey flip phone, valued at $50.
