Andrea Leigh Flye and Justin Martin Hudson were united in marriage on Saturday, Oct. 3, 2015 at 5 p.m. at Absolutely Country in Siloam, NC. Doug Brinkley officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Randy Flye of Battleboro, NC. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Flye and Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Ward.
She graduated from Northern Nash High School, Rocky Mount, NC and from Barton College, Wilson, NC with a BS and M.Ed. in Elementary Education. She is employed by Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools at Pinewood Elementary in Charlotte as a fourth grade teacher.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Larry Hudson of Pilot Mountain. He is the grandson of the late Clayton and Virginia Hudson and of the late Wade and Shirley Martin.
He graduated from East Surry High School and Sandhills Community College, Pinehurst, NC. He is employed by TPC Piper Glen in Charlotte.
The bride was escorted by her father, Mr. Randy Flye.
She wore a lace strapless A-line gown with navy monogrammed Jackie Rogers shoes and a birdcage headpiece. The bride carried a bouquet of calla lilies and fall flowers in shades of orange, burgundy and pink.
The matron of honor was Marci Flye Vick of Rocky Mount, NC, sister of the bride.
Bridesmaids were Mrs. Kristin Register of Wilson, NC, Mrs. Ginny Brie of Bailey, NC and sister of the groom, Mrs. Meagan Parrish of Clayton, NC.
The flower girls were Miss Olivia Ann Parrish and Miss Lily Parrish.
The bridal attendants wore yellow strapless gowns with boots and carried baby’s breath.
Mr. Larry Hudson, the groom’s father, served as best man.
Groomsmen were Mr. Daniel Lynch of King, Mr. Justin Boaz of Pilot Mountain, Mr. Walter Reddick of Salisbury, Mr. David Caudle of Mount Airy, Mr. Matt Simmons of Winston-Salem, Mr. Tyler Bullington of Rustburg, VA, Mr. Scott Frans of Nashville, TN, Mr. Lane Jessup of Pilot Mountain, Mr. Bryan Creed of Siloam, Mr. John O’Dell of Greenville, NC and Mr. TJ Parrish of Clayton, NC.
Master Zach Parrish served as ring bearer.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Ms. Mary Margret Fulk of Raleigh, soloist and David George and Hersie McMillan, banjo and mandolin.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Absolutely Country with food by Little Richard’s BBQ of Mount Airy and music by DJ “Bedazzle”Blanton Yule, also of Mount Airy.
The rehearsal dinner, hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Larry Hudson, parents of the groom, was held Friday evening at Pilot Knob Country Club with food by 13 Bones of Mount Airy.
Following a honeymoon trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, the couple will reside in Charlotte, NC.
