Dillon takes Late Model feature
WYTHEVILLE, Va. - Ty Dillon held off Ryan Gifford to win the Late Model feature Sunday night at Wythe Raceway.
The pair of Lewisville drivers battled to a 1-2 finish.
Finishing third through fifth were Clinton Cook of Radford, Va., Randy Kinder of Radford, Va. and Matt Parks of Wytheville, Va.
In the Super Streets feature, Mike Keith of Rural Retreat, Va. took the top spot.
Rounding out the top five were Sugar Grove, Va.'s Eddie Bentley in second, Sugar Grove's Keith Griffits in third, Chad Hale of Wytheville in fourth and Guy England of Max Meadows, Va. in fifth.
In the Dirt Modified class feature, Mike Johnson of Marion, Va. raced his way to a first place finish.
Finishing second through fifth were Ron Lawson of Austinvile, Va., Michael Davis of Atkins, Va., R.K. Dix of Rural Retreat, Va. and Will Ferguson of Wytheville, Va.
In the Pro Mini main event, Randy Kincer of Rural Retreat, Va. took first place, holding off second place Doug Monday of Max Meadows, Va.
Rounding out the top five were third place Gary Rudolph (Fries, Va.), R.K. Dix (Rural Retreat, Va.) and Brandon Farris (Marion, Va.).
In the U-cars feature, Rob Favre of Willis, Va. took top honors, with Cody Dutton (Chilhowie, Va.) coming home second,J ake Eaton (Bland, Va.) third, Josh Dunford (Austinville, Va.) fourth and Brandon Farris (Marion, Va.) fifth.
In the Hornets feature, Cole Dutton (Chilhowie, Va.) was first, Clark Cooper (Rural Retreat, Va.) second, Cody Umberger (Rural Retreat, Va.), Zack Dunford (Austinville, Va.) and Jon Keyes (Sugar Grove, Va.) fifth.
