Local student interns for Coble

A college student from Mount Airy spent some time in Washington, D.C., this summer as an intern for his congressman.

Edwin Moore Woltz Jr., a senior at North Carolina State University, interned in the Capitol Hill office of U.S. 6th District Rep. Howard Coble (R-NC).

Woltz interned for Coble from July 15 until Aug. 2. Moore is a 2010 graduate of Woodberry Forest School in Orange, Va., and is in the class of 2014 at N.C. State. He is the son of Edwin Moore Woltz and Rebecca Harvin Woltz and lives on Beechtree Circle in Mount Airy.
